New to pedals need help please.

Post by MuzikP »

Hi All,
I’m a recent convert from a multi-effects processor to pedals and need some advice. I use a Fender Cyber Twin amp which has inputs on the back for effects loop (mono send/Stereo return). It also has a separate expression pedal input and something called REV/FX bypass.

My signal chain is as follows:
Pedal Power 2+, Boss TU-2, volume, Crybaby Wah, Boss BD-2, Fulltone OCD, Boss DS-1, Voodoo Lab Tremolo, DOD Chorus, Boss DD-20 delay, amp.

Questions are:
1. Should any of these pedals go through the effects loop or expression pedal input on the back of the amp? If so which pedals and how to cable.
2. What is the effects loop input for?
3. What is the expression pedal input for?
4. What is the REV/FX bypass all about?
5. Should I be doing something different?

Thanks in advance.
James

All your questions are really about your amplifier. Your best bet first is to check the manual for the Cyber Twin for the most reliable information about its features and jack functions.
Once you are more familiar with the functions of your amp and how you would like to use them with a Ground Control Pro and GCX system please do not hesitate to ask.
