I need to power about 7 “regular” pedals and a Line6 HX Stomp. I was going to purchase a Pedal Power 3 Plus and extend an X4 off of it to power the HX Stomp with a current doubler cable.
My question is whether the X4 is necessary. Is there anything different about the ports on the X4 that make it beneficial to power the HX Stomp? Does the PP 3 Plus already have all the ports I need?

Re: HX stomp with Pedal Power 3 Plus
Indeed, Pedal Power 3 Plus can power them all (but you'll also need this additional cable HX Current Doubler Cable not included).
Or, similarly with Pedal Power 3 but you'd need to also use an Output Splitter Adapter, part# PPAV to power a pair of 9V pedals from a single output.
Either way, Pedal Power X4 is not required.
Cheers!
