Can someone help me route my signal through my g.c -> gcx?

Hello.
I've got an GCX and the old ground control.
My question is:

I've got an BOSS RE-20 in my rack.

Is it possible to connect an expression pedal into my ground control.
for so to route this signal from the expression pedal through the ground control into the GCX and then send the signal from the expression pedal out through the GCX and into the expression pedal INPUT of my RE-20?

Did this make any sense? and, is it possible? help

The Ground Control converts expression pedal movement to MIDI messages that will control parameters on outboard MIDI devices. Because the RE-20 is not MIDI controllable, you will have to connect your expression pedal directly to the RE-20. I hope that helps!
