Pod XT Pro Aand GCP

I just got the GCP having used a DMC Ground Control for many years. It `s a very nice unit!
My problem is with the instant access tap tempo control. I`m quite sure I set it up correctly but it acts strangely when trying to control this feature on the Pod.Sometimes it doubles what I tap in, sometimes it does nothing, and sometimes it just creates a random tempo from the tap. The front panel button works perfectly on the Pod.

I`m using instant access button 4 set to CC 64.
Any thoughts?

You are so close!

The only thing I think you missed is that you need to set Instant Access button to Momentary in order to properly control the tempo. Go into the Setup Mode, select Instant Access, Bank Down to button 4, press Cursor Right to get to the next screen then use the Data+/- buttons to change the selection.
