Issue with Micro Vibe

Post by Trex »

Hi there

Has anyone had any problems with a popping noise on a micro vibe and Ch Pedals. I find every time i switch on the micro vibe and Ch pedal there a popping sound. further more i find that there is also a volume increase when the pedals are active.

Please advise

There is always some pop associated with True Bypass pedals. How loud is this pop when compared to the guitar level when playing? Do you get the same results when simplifying the setup to just the guitar, one pedal, and an amplifier? How do you power these pedals?

The Analog Chorus and the Micro Vibe are quite dark sounding pedals. Usually the perceived volume boost is due to an EQ shift and is most noted with the Analog Chorus. We do have a mod for the Analog Chorus that will reduce the perceived volume boost, however there is not a mod for the Micro Vibe. I would suggest testing these one at a time in a very simplified setup before resorting to modification as there is always the possibility that there is some interaction between the pedals and something else in this rig.

Let us know what you find.
