Sparkle Drive noisy pots

I just bought a Sparkle Drive on ebay that the seller said was new. Everything works fine except that the "clean" and "volume" pots are a bit noisy.

I guess first of all, does anyone know if I can still send in the warranty card even though I didn't purchase it from a dealer?
And how would you go about treating the noisy pots? Can you approach it the same way you would noisy pots on a guitar?

You can try cleaning the pots with an electronics spray, but this usually messes up the feel of the pots I find. Perhaps I just haven't found the right stuff yet.

The best bet would probably be to swap for another one with the dealer or give us a call and we can arrange to repair your Sparkle Drive... I suppose we could overlook the warranty issue this one time!
