Current and Voltage with the 4x4

Post by wurs »

I have two pedal the EH POG v1 that requires 18V with 500ma and the Roger Linn Adrenalin 3 that requires 9V with 500ma ; Can I use the voltage double on the 4x4 on a 9v 100ma & 9v 400ma for the POG to get the required 18v 500ma? And can I use the current doubler on another 9v 100ma & 9v 400ma to get the required 9v 500ma for the Adrenalin?

Please let me know ASAP!!!!! :?: :?: :?:

The actual current draw of each pedal is a bit lower than what the included power supplies are capable of providing.

The Adrenalinn 3 actually draws about 400mA.
The POG actually draws about 220mA.

You can power the Adrenalinn 3 directly from any of the High Current 9V outputs using a Reverse Polarity Barrel Cable.

The POG will still require the Voltage Doubler Adapter together with one of the included Red ended cables but it will actually require the use of two of the High Current 9V Outputs.

A Voltage Doubler will only sum the Voltage of each output. The available current will be equal to the available current will be equal to the lowest rated output used.

I hope that helps!
