WahWah reverse in loop for seagul effect Pink Floyd

Post by pfloyd »

Because we play Echoes (Pink Floyd) I want to create the seagull sound with my reverse connected wah wah pedal.

So I thought    when I connect it reverse in one of the loops of the GCX the only thing I have to do is activate that loop and there it is….. the Seagul sound…. It won’t work. There is no sound at all. It seems strange to me. Is there a solution.

Does this wah work when connected in reverse without using a GCX Loop?

Hi there,

Yes the pedal works fine in reverse in the normal way. The GCX don't accept a reverse connecting I think. So for now I placed the Wah in front of me in reverse. I use a Looper to switch. That works fine.

If you were using the Guitar In buffer, then perhaps that was the problem?

Having the wah out on the floor with you is probably preferable anyway so I guess, shine on you crazy diamond!
