Giggity not overdriving
Giggity not overdriving
There are videos showing amps that appear to be on relatively low volume that get a clean overdrive sound when the Giggity loudness is turned up. I am testing a Hot Rod Deluxe and given the constraints of apartment living, cannot get the pedal to create any significant overdrive. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate them. Using all channels on the Deluxe. Perhaps the problem is that the volume I'm using on this loud amp is just too low. Here's the link to an example of a Giggity demo.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6hjJzBcxvw
Re: Giggity not overdriving
One of the cool things about the Giggity is that it is quite sensitive to the guitar volume. You can dial the guitar's volume knob back an really clean up the sound... so with that, i wonder if you've got your guitar volume turned up, or if there is some other issue that is killing the guitar signal before hitting the Giggity.
If you haven't already, try testing this with just the guitar, Giggity, and amp. Try different cables between the guitar and the Giggity if you still get the same behavior.
Let us know what you find!

Re: Giggity not overdriving
The problem was the tester, (me!) not the Giggity. Not that many possibilities, so not sure why I missed it. The solution for me was to keep the Giggity master volume low. Pedal works exactly as I hoped it would.
