MXR Bass Compressor with Pedal Power 2 = BUZZ

I am having a loud buzzing noise appear when I use a MXR Bass Compressor with Pedal Power 2. It only happens when I turn the pedal on. I am using a GK Fusion 550 amp. I have the amp and Voodoo Power 2 Plus connected to the same AC outlet. I have tried at three different location and still have the hum. I have changed cords. When I put a battery in the MXR the buzz goes away. Dose anybody have any idea why I am getting this Buzz and how to make it go away?

The MXR Bass Compressor (M87) should be fine to power from any output with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal. We have even had one in use for a couple of our demo videos and never had any problems with it.

I suppose it would be worth setting it up with just your guitar to the pedal and pedal straight to the amp as a test. If you leave the battery inside you can swap between powering with the Pedal Power and the battery just by plugging and unplugging the barrel cable at the pedal end.
