OK< I am having a problem... the GCX shows loop one is activated but the Ground Control Pro light is not on. I hit the IA on the GCP and the light comes on for the GCP...-but the light remains unchanged on the GCX.
Also, the loop is intermittent in terms of actually working (even though the GCX light is lit. I have noticed this occurring for IA 1 (COMPRESSOR Stomp) and IA 6 (Morley Wah pedal). It does not make any sense to me... I have checked that the MIDI cables and loop cables are properly routed and firmly seated in their respective ports. Last week, I had no issues at all!
Has anyone else seen anything like this occur? What is the problem?
Thanks!
jim

Re: Ground Control Pro Instant Access INOP
What exactly is Instant Access button 1 programmed to do?
You can check this in Setup Mode.
1. Press both Setup Buttons at the same time to enter Setup Mode.
2. Press the button marked Instant access.
Button 1 should be the first one that shows up... what does your Ground Control Pro show on the screen here?
Also, is the Active LED on the GCX always on?

Re: Ground Control Pro Instant Access INOP
The problem was the USER. I mis-programmed my wah to IA 1 (which is where I wanted it) but did not change the cables or remove the previous IA that had the wah on IA 6. Problem solved!
This experience had me review the manual and remember that I can control expression (switch) inptus on my stomp boxes. I took the send of IA 7 and ran it to the expression jack on my Boss RT-20 so I could switch between slow leslie to fast leslie by using a preset IA or stomp IA (I cam currently using both configurations. Good stuff!
So, Wah is fully operational and using IA 8: Tap; IA 7: Fast leslie
Woohoo!
Thanks for trying to help...
